Study And Development Of Pdm System In Defense Enterprises

As development of computer technology continuously, the PDM (Product Data Management) system is applied in the product developing process by more and more enterprises to manage the whole life cycle of the enterprise product developing. Lots of enterprises also utilize the PDM system to reintegrate and manage various data in the enterprise so as to shorten product developing cycle and increase the production efficiency.Firstly, the problems met in the course of the military enterprise developing products are concluded by the author of this paper analyzing the industry characteristics of military enterprise, which are analyzed by combining with the related knowledge to PDM. And why these problems occurred is found theoretically.Secondly, by communicating with the enterprise production management personnel in field, and taking a military enterprise as a practical object, the problems that restrict the efficiency of enterprise developing products are obtained, and the detail requirement analysis of the enterprise for the PDM system in chart is collected by combining the PDM management idea.Thirdly, on basis of general design idea and detail requirement analysis and according to the actual case of the enterprise, the functional modules such as project management, product structure management, drawings and documents management, authority management as well as integration of PDM and Protel software, etc, are analyzed in detail. The data model, and data organization management mode are set up in chart, and its function is implemented. A set of complete PDM system is set up for this enterprise by taking an advanced PDM software aboard as a basic platform and according to the systematic particular design concept.And finally, the key points of the PDM system required by the same industries are concluded in the course of designing and implementing PDM system for the enterprise. On basis of the experience obtained in implementing the PDM in the enterprise, the key stages and important problems which should be paid more attentions in implementing PDM system are concluded.The remarkable benefit obtained in the enterprise implementing PDM system shows. that the system developed and implemented in this paper can be used to solve the problems met by the enterprise in product data management, and the problem of the information isolated island in the enterprise can be solved partially, which can be used as a reference for popularizing the PDM system in the military enterprises.Due to the size limit of this paper, a comprehensive and detailed discussion on PDM system and integration of other systems is not done.
