Objective: To investigate the correlation of HLA DQB1*03, DRB1*07, DRB1*13 alleles with HPV infection and cervical carcinoma of Xinjiang Uigur and Han women; to investigate the distribution differences of HLA DQB1*03, DRB1*07, DRB1*13 alleles in Xinjiang Uigur and Han normal women. Methods: PCR-SSP was performed to detect the HLA DQB1*03, DRB1*07, DRB1*13 alleles distribution in 192 cases of invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix and 218 cases of control tissue in Uigur women, 95 cases of invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix and 94 cases of control tissue in Han women . PCR for HPV16,18 DNA was used to detect the cases of invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix and control tissue of Xinjiang Uigur and Han women. Results: (1)The HPV16/18 and HPV16 DNA infection rate in invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix of Xinjiang Uigur and Han women were higher than control respectively, there were significant differences (P<0.05), The HPV16/18 and HPV16 DNA infection rate in invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix of Xinjiang Uigur women were higher than that in Han, there were significant differences (P<0.05); (2) The frequency of HLA DQB1*03 allele in invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix of Xinjiang Uigur women was higher than control, the difference was significant (P<0.05), the frequency of HLA DQB1*03 allele in invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix of Xinjiang Han women compare with control, there was no significant difference; the frequency of HLA DRB1*07 allele in invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix of Xinjiang Uigur women compare with control, there was no significant difference, the frequency of HLA DRB1*07 allele in invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix of Xinjiang Han women was higher than control, the difference was significant; the frequency of HLA DRB1*13 allele in invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix of Xinjiang Uigur and Han women compare with control respectively, there were no significant differences;(3)The frequency of HLA DQB1*03 allele in HPV16/18-positive invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix of Xinjiang Uigur women was higher than control, the difference was significant (P<0.05), the frequency of HLA DQB1*03 allele in HPV16/18-positive invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix of Xinjiang Han women compare with control, there was no significant difference; the frequency of HLA DRB1*07 allele in HPV16/18-positive invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix of Xinjiang Uigur women compare with control, there was no significant difference, the frequency of HLA DRB1*07 allele in HPV16/18-positive invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix of Xinjiang Han women was higher than control, the difference was significant; the frequency of HLA DRB1*13 allele in HPV16/18-positive invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix of Xinjiang Uigur and Han women compare with control respectively, there were no significant differences; (4) The frequency of HLA DQB1*03, DRB1*07, DRB1*13 alleles in HPV16/18-positive control tissue of Xinjiang Uigur women compare with HPV16/18-negative control tissue, there were no significant differences; (5) The frequency of HLA DQB1*03 allele in Uigur normal women was lower than that in Han, the difference was significant (P<0.05);the frequency of HLA DRB1*07, DRB1*13 alleles in Uigur normal women were higher than that in Han, and there were significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusions: (1) HLA DQB1*03 allele may be a susceptible factor for invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix of Xinjiang Uigur women, HLA DRB1*07 allele may be a susceptible factor for invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix of Xinjiang Han women, HLA DRB1*13 allele has no correlation with invasive squamous cell carcinoma of cervix of Xinjiang Uigur and Han women; (2) HLA DQB1*03, DRB1*07, DRB1*13 alleles have no correlation with HPV infection of Xinjiang Uigur and Han women; (3) The frequency of HLA DQB1*03 allele in Uigur normal women was lower than that in Han, the frequency of HLA DRB1*07, DRB1*13 alleles in Uigur normal women were higher than that in Han.
