Objective:To know the economic burden of chronic non-communicable diseases and its influence factors in Xinjiang production and construction corps.Methods:8 347commumity inhabitants were surveyed in Xinjiang production and construction corps and using two-step model and human capital approach to measure the economic cost of chronic non-communicable diseases according to the data from chronic non-communicable diseases surveys. The multi linear regression model were explored to analyze the factors.Results:1.In 2008,the prevalence of NCDs was 248.5%o, the prevalences of recirculating systems, digestive systems,skeletal systems, endocrine systems, respiratory systems were 159.8‰,62.1‰,48.5‰,44.9‰, 24.6‰.The prevalences of hypertension, heart diseases, diabetes, chronic gastroenteritis and enteritis, cerebrovascular disease were 81.9‰,52.6‰,33.3‰,29.8‰,20.2‰。2. In 2008, the total economic burden of all was 1.936 billion RMB,the direct economic burden was 1.707 billion RMB and the indirect economic burden was 0.229 billion RMB. The fee-for-service is 1.598 billion RMB,the no-fee-for-service is 0.109 billion RMB, The leading five orders of chronic non-communicable diseases of fee-for-service were heart diseases, hypertension, diabetes, cerebrovascular disease,malignancy. The leading five orders of chronic non-communicable diseases of no-fee-for-service were heart diseases, hypertension, Intervertebral disk diseases,diabetes,COPD. The total economic burden of urben and rural were 0.552 billion RMB and 1.409 billion RMB. The total economic burden of elders was 0.764 billion RMB.3. The main influence factors of economic burden for out-patient were distinction of hospital,the main influence factors of economic burden for in-patient were sort of NCDs,economic status, distinction of hospital, number of days.Conclusion:1. NCDs brought serious economic burden to individual,households and society;2. The economic burden of heart diseases, hypertension, diabetes is the primary;3.
