Objective:The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of three chronic noncommunicable diseases among residents in Luolong District in order to understand the prevalence and distribution of chronic noncommunicable diseases in the area and to analyze the risk factors and prevalence of chronic diseases. The related conditions provide scientific basis for the formulation of chronic disease prevention strategies in the region and the implementation of intervention measures. Methods:A multi-stage random sampling method was used to collect 2016 residents over18-80 years in Luolong District as the subjects of the survey.Data acquisition were obtained withthemethodof questionnaires survey and physical examinations.Data was created by EpiData 3.1 software withthe method of double-pass blind.Statistical analysis was performed by SPSS21.0 software. The statistics description adopted rate and constituent ratios.Statistical inference adopted the single factor chi-square and setted the significance level of?to0.05.Results:1.Distribution of hypertensionThe prevalence of hypertension in the surveyed population was 26.8%(standardized prevalence rate 24.1%).In terms of demographic characteristics, the prevalence of hypertension in different gender groups, different marriage groups, different occupation groups, different age groups, and different levels of education groups was statistically significant(?~2=47.726,P<0.001;?~2=34.422,P<0.001;?~2=241.582,P<0.001;?~2=218.444,P<0.001;?~2=68.034,P<0.001).For related factors, the prevalence of hypertension in different BMI,different waist circumferences, different exercise intensity, and different smoking groups was statisticallysignificant(?~2=127.388,P<0.001;?~2=74.528,P<0.001;?~2=10.906,P<0.001;?~2=11.426,P=0.003).2.The distribution of diabetesThe prevalence of diabetes among the surveyed subjects was 11.2%(standardized prevalence rate 9.9%).In terms of demographic characteristics, the prevalence of diabetes in different occupational groups, different age groups, and different levels of education groups was statistically significant(?~2=146.874,P<0.001;?~2=129.396,P<0.001;?~2=30.515,P<0.001).In terms of related factors, the difference in prevalence of diabetes in different BMI and different waistline groups was statistically significant(?~2=21.512,P<0.001;?~2=22.815,P<0.001).3.The distribution characteristics of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseaseThe prevalence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease was 8.4%(standardized prevalence rate 7.4%).In demographic characteristics, the prevalence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in different sex groups, different occupation groups, different age groups, and different levels of education groups was statistically significant(?~2=23.473,P<0.001;?~2=63.707,P<0.001;?~2=62.856,P<0.001;?~2=10.792,P=0.005).In terms of related factors, the prevalence of COPD in the different BMI,smoking, and alcohol consumption groups were statistically significant(?~2=16.156,P<0.001;?~2=74.528,P<0.001;?~2=6.002,P=0.049).Conclusions:1.The prevalence of three types of chronic noncommunicable diseases includinghypertension, diabetes, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease among residents in the region are high.2.The level of education, age, occupation, and BMI are closely related to the prevalence of the three chronic non-communicable diseases in the surveyed regions.
