During the round after round of education reform wave, the new curriculum reform begun overwhelmingly in the cities and towns across the country for its wide range of impact. To the traditional high school physics education and even secondary school physics teachers, the new curriculum philosophy of education, no doubt, is a strong impact. It is a higher requirement for secondary school physics teachers in the aspects of professional ideas, expertise, professional competence and professional psychological quality. Normal university is the key point of teacher cultivation. As the cradle of teachers' cultivation, whether its education can meet the higher quality teacher requirement of new curriculum reform or not and whether can adapt to the trend of social development or not, has become the primary concern of the major education scholars. Therefore, it is a necessity to research normal university curricula, and the reform of curriculum setting has played a very crucial role in the training of teachers and the reaching of the national education goals. All in all, the reform of curriculum setting has played a pivotal role in cultivating the higher quality secondary school teachers, who can meet the requirement of the new curriculum.Paper consists of five parts:In the first part, the author focuses on analyzing the reason of researching curriculum setting of normal university, which is because of the new requirement of curriculum for new curriculum reform. At the same time, the author gives an analysis of the new curriculum through the following aspects:the course structure, course content, curriculum implementation, curriculum objectives, curriculum evaluation, and curriculum management.In the second part, the author mainly analyzes how high school physics teachers should face the requirement of them for new curriculum reform in the imperative conditions. Through the research of new curriculum reform, the paper focuses on summarizing the requirement of high school physics teachers' quality from two aspects:social development, and new curriculum reform.In the third part, the author mainly gives a comparative study on the training program of Physics Education of normal university in three different levels, and gives a research of the questionnaire on curriculum setting of physics education of normal university. Through the comparative study and the analysis of the questionnaire, the author gives a conclusion that a series of problems, such as:simple, and outdated, to be solved, exist in the curriculum setting of physics education of normal university. In the forth part, the author describes the problems existing in the curriculum setting of physics education of normal university in our country now, and draws lessons from the success of teacher education curriculum experience from developed countries. Then, the author further makes a construction, suitable to China's national conditions and requirement of new curriculum reform, of curriculum setting of normal university.The fifth part is the conclusion of this paper.
