A Study On Development Of China's Overseas Economic And Trade Cooperation Zone

Under the government's guidance, China's overseas economic and trade cooperation zone (COETCZ) is constructed by Chinese enterprises independently or partly with perfect infrastructure and complete industry chain, including machining area, industrial park area and science and technology industrial park area which have greater driving ability and important influence. The construction of COETCZ shows that Chinese enterprises are exploring a new way to go out and start foreign direct investment and are sharing resources of international market and excavating and developing the international market. It is also an important measure to balance international payments, avoid trade barriers, use up excess production capacity and relieve cost pressure of production and operation. COETCZ provides a security for Chinese enterprises which can do business activities more safely and also provides a platform for Chinese enterprises which can do transnational business through cluster more easily. COETCZ can also drive the host countries to develop better.This thesis analyzes the development situation of COETCZ and points out the operating mode of COETCZ, construction situation and features and development path of COETCZ. Through analyzing the case of COETCZ in Ussuriisk, Russia, this thesis also describes the construction and development situation of COETCZ in Ussuriisk and finds some problem in COETCZ in Ussuriisk and other places.According to this thesis, it is good for COETCZ that Chinese government should enhance to plan, coordinate and guide the construction of COETCZ and make more preferential policies. For one aspect of development area, government should enhance to publicize and popularize the COETCZ and make accurate position for COETCZ. For another aspect of enterprises, government should strengthen cross-cultural training and construct enterprise cluster model in order to better development.
