BPR (Business process reengineering), first proposed by the famous American management masters Michael hammer and James Champy, and BPR management theory Is in vogue in the whole world in the 1990s, It stressed the customer-oriented, process-centric, and it is defined as the fundamental rethink and radical redesign of business processes to generate dramatic improvements in critical performance measures-such as cost, quality, service and speed.Because of immature features, complexity, and subversiveness of BPR theory, reengineer enterprises are facing a higher risk. This paper research Y Company's Process Reengineering, one of SMEs, and design new processes for Y Company's current development requirements and needs and bring into effect, which changing the Y company's traditional business model and solving operational problems. The new processes will break the bottleneck in the development of enterprises to promote sustainable development of the company; at the same time the studying can explore the ways and processes BPR theory is applied to small and medium enterprises, when it is still immature and lack of tools for implementation of the BPR, which provide a reference for more use of BPR to improve the business performance of SMEs.According to sorting theory and implement principles and methods of BPR, Integrating BPR ideas and theories and the law of application, this paper summarizes the general theory of BPR application, furthermore, it make specific analysis and evaluation of the Y company's organizational structure and processes through the application of BPR theory, and designs and establishs a new process system, in order to achieve objectives of significantly improving business process performance.This article mainly covers four parts.First of all, this thesis sorts out the basic concepts of BPR and the BPR different point of view comprehensively since it comes into being, and the results of studying and application of Chinese scholars, and the premise of implementation, principles, methods, commonly used technology tools of BPR; in addition, it summarizes in BPR implementation steps, difficulties, common problems and methods of effect asses sment, as well as it reviews BPR theory.Secondly, this thesis analyses the external competitive environment and internal business environment of Y Company through the use of Porter's five competitive forces model and SWOT model, then it rights Y Company's strategic re-positioning and studys of status of the Y Company's processes comprehensively, and moreover, it conducts Process Diagnostics and determines the need critical business processes to reengineerThird, this thesis designs Y Company's new process projects and the corresponding organizational structure and system, at one time it set the matching system of management, KPI and information schemes.Finally, it is about BPR implementation of promotion, process monitoring, effectiveness evaluation and risk control. |
