The theory of business process reengineering was introduced into China in the last century 90’s, and develops rapidly in our country, then there are a lot of enterprises conducting business process reengineering, having made great achievement, but with the continuous development and improvement of the enterprise business process reengineering, people find that if the company wants to achieve greater competitive advantage, not only to change the processes of the enterprise interior, but also need change the enterprise external.Facing the enormous pressure:the diversification of the customers’ needs, product delivery time reduced, product quality improvement, cost reduction and service improvement, the competition now is from the original competition among enterprises into the supply chain, enterprises want to gain competitive advantages in the fierce market competition, continue to develop and grow, it must constantly adjust and change the existing mode of production and operation, for meeting the needs of customer fast.S company is the equipment manufacturing industry, the main activities of company include procurement, production, R & D and sales. Procurement is the starting process of the company product value-added, it relates to all processes of the enterprise, it will influence the cost and profit of the enterprise directly, only by constantly according to the market environment and the customer demand for the improvement of purchasing management, it can continuously reduce all kinds of loss and waste in the procurement process, reduce purchasing cost, improve the efficiency of purchasing work, it plays an important role in improving the market competitiveness of the enterprise.This paper takes the S company’s procurement process as the research object, firstly it discusses the basic theories of supply chain management and business process reengineering and so on,the paper points out the difference between traditional management mode and the mode under the supply chain management, the difference between traditional purchasing and the procurement under supply chain management, points out the relationship between supply chain management and business process reengineering at the same time,they are the theoretical foundation for the following, then I investigate the existing company organization structure, purchasing organization, purchasing process and supplier management processes, and diagnose and analyze them with ASME methods and IDEFO model, find some problems in them, apply ESIA method to improve them, and enhance the operation efficiency of the enterprise, reduce the cost of procurement, lower the inventory levels, improve procurement efficiency, finally, establish evaluation system to evaluate the procurement process after reengineering.
