Analysis And Development Strategy On Beef Cattle Industry Of In Inner Mongolia

Inner Mongolia is an important base of livestock husbandry and producing area of livestock products in our country. Livestock husbandry in grassland is the preponderant industry in Inner Mongolia. Far-flung grasslands in Inner Mongolia is an ideal place for breeding sheep and cattle. Beef cattle industry has been an unique industry which has not only local breeds but also improved breeds. Its improved breed of domestic animals has some advantages which include being rich in flesh, good in quality. There are not only regional developing advantages but also high prestige among customers to beef cattle in Inner Mongolia. With the development of our country's economy, the livestock industry has been developed largely in Inner Mongolia.Beef Cattle Industry is mainly distributed in northern grasslands, Hetao plain and Xi Liaohe plain. In recent years, local breeds have been improved in a planned way, which greatly raised the output of beef cattle. With strengthening the ecology protection and construction, with the development of livestock husbandry, and with implementing the project of'flourishing the north and thriving the south', the breeding way to beef cattle has been changed from coarse forage to nutritious forage. What is more, the cutting-apart sales has a positive influence on the development of beef cattle industry in Inner Mongolia.Under the present advantages, in order to impulse the development of livestock husbandry we should make regional plan, develop green industry, improve the technique for breeding and managing, carry out large-scale breeding, supervise beef cattle slaughter, expand international market, and establish effective productive factors rationally. In a word, the basic strategy to development of beef cattle industry in Inner Mongolia is to develop'green beef food'under the background of economic globalization.
