Production Layout Transferring Of China’s Main Beef Cattle Producing Areas

Agriculture, rural areas and farmers have always been a big issue which related to the success or failure of the party and the state and the happiness of its peoples, giving priority to "three rural" issues has became the consensus of the party and the nation. Livestock is an very important part of agriculture,.It actors an important role that actively and steadily promote animal husbandry for development of modern agriculture, increasing the income of farmers, building a moderately prosperous society.The development of beef cattle industry is quicker in our animal husbandry.Beef cattle industry is always an improtant part of agriculture and animal husbandry, and beef cattle production has become one of the improtant sources of increasing farmers’income,so the active and steady development of beef cattle industry has been given the universal attention by our society. Acorrding to the development of four beef cattle producing areas which are Central Plains, Northeast, Northwest, Southwest producing areas,national beef cattle producing layout is changing,which is the transferring from pastoral areas to major grain producing areas or the higher production of oil and cotton agriculture areas,different development stages have different features.In order to concretely know the transferring of the main beef cattle areasand its influencing factors, this paper articulated and analyzed the data from the Statistic Yearbook, meanwhile,this paper measured the rationality of this kind of transferringthis trend by using coefficient of resource endowments method and comprehensive comparative advantage method,at last it truned out to be certainty.Also, This paper use simple linear function to analyze the influencing factors of the transferring of china’s main beef cattle areas.The main factors that this paper selected are non-farm employment opportunities and the level of urbanlization,tranfic and transport situation,comparative advantage of beef cattle comparing with other livestock products,policy support and so on.In order to analy the factors better,this paper analyed four main beef cattle producing areas respectively, its specific analysis conclusions are as follows:The first,there is a negative correlation between the non-farm employment opportunities,the level of urbanlization factor and china’s beef cattle industry development,but,the degree of the influence depends on different main beef cattle producing areas.Overall,the influence degree is relatively large when it comes to the Central Plains and Southwest main beef cattle producing areas,while the influence degree is small regarding to the Northeast and Northwest main beef cattle producing areas.The second,there is a positive correlation between the tranfic transport situation factor and china’s beef cattle industry development,also, the degree of the influence depends on different main beef cattle producing areas, the influence degree is relatively large when it comes to the Northeast、Southwest and Northwest main beef cattle producing areas,while the influence degree is small,regarding to the Central Plains main beef cattle producing areas.The third,there is a positive correlation between comparative advantage of beef cattle comparing with other livestock products fator and china’s beef cattle industry development,and the influence degree is large when it comes to the four main beef cattle producing areas.Policy support played an important role in promoting the development china’s beef cattle industry,from the analysis by simple linear function,we can see the promoting function is big,the influence coeffience is relatively high.The fourth,the potential of beef cattle industry development,when it comes to the Northeast, and Northwest beef cattle producing areas,the two main beef cattle producing areas both have rich human and natural resources advantage,the two regions can become new growth roles of china’s beef cattle industry development.
