Study On The Development Of Beef-Cattle Business In Inner Mongolia

After china's entering world trade organization, foodstuff andother agricultural products have gradually lost its competitionadvantage on the international market due to the lowering of agriculturalproducts tariff's tax rate, while mutton and beef and other animalhusbandry products are still holding some comparative advantage in thecompetition on the international market. At present, stockbreeding hasgradually become the backbone industry of the run cal economicdevelopment in our country and also have the main source for farmers andherdsmen to increase their income. therefore it is of great importanceto develop meat-herbivorous livestock breeding in China. InnerMongolia, being the main stockbreeding province and production base ofanimal husbandry products in China, has always been the importantherbivorous livestock breeding area and output cite for mutton and beefin our country. However, the development of beef-cattle business in InnerMongolia has obviously lag behind in facing today's rapid developmentof domestic beef-cattle business. Therefor, the main content in thisarticle is a study on how to make full use of resource advantage to meetthe demand of the market, and how to develop the beef-cattle businesswith high speed and quality in Inner Mongolia.We summarized the current condition of development for beef-cattleproduction in Inner Mongolia in this article. Through the comparativeanalysis of beef-cattle production between domestic and abroad, we believe that beef-cattle industry in Inner Mongolia not only fall behindthat in developed country, but also lagged that in other domesticprovinces. By the analysis on the problems and causes of beef-cattleindustry in Inner Mongolia, we found that it is the ultimate cause thatrestricted development for beef-cattle production in Inner Mongoliathat grassland's retrogression,the unfit prevention and cure ofepidemic disease and the deficiency in product's quality management andso on. We analysed the market demand of beef-cattle production domesticand abroad, and put forward that it is feasible to develop beef-cattleproduction in Inner Mongolia.We believed it would promote the rapid development of beef-cattleproduction in Inner Mongolia to establish the development ideas,principles and goals, to grope for a compatible developing model on it.Our government should try to develop beef-cattle production, realizethe standardization of it, foster some advanced corporations, perfectthe prevention and cure of epidemic disease, optimize its developingcircumstance, and so on. At the same time, we think that to developbeef-cattle business, structural and systematic establishment ofproduction should be bettered and industrialized chain be reasonably laidout——that's the key point to develop and promote efficientbeef-cattle business in Inner Mongolia.
