Study On The Development And Influential Factors Of Beef Cattle Breeding Industry In Inner Mongolia

Beef cattle breeding industry is an important industry in agriculture, which is the first industry in China since the1980s. With the gradual improvement of the national life quality level, beef has entered people’s sight for its advantages of high nutritional value, and beef market is gradually expanding. Inner Mongolia is one of China’s five major animal husbandry provinces, for the world famous vast grasslands and the plentiful beef cattle species. But it is obviously lagging behind the other domestic beef cattle breeding industry producing provinces that the beef cattle breeding industry development of Inner Mongolia, which is very inconsistent with the status as a traditional big province of animal husbandry in Inner Mongolia. Therefore, research on the status of the beef cattle breeding in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has important theoretical and practical significance for the development of beef cattle breeding industry in Inner Mongolia.In this paper, based on a mass of statistical yearbook data, the Chinese beef cattle breeding industry development present situation was analyzed, and the general situation of beef cattle breeding industry in Inner Mongolia was also analyzed. Futhermore, it was analyzed that the factors affecting the development of beef cattle breeding industry in Inner Mongolia. The results showed that the main factors influencing was the scale of breeding, the feed input, and gaining weight in fattening period. Through the establishment of the production function model, combining with the data obtained from investigating major beef-producing regions of Tongliao city in Inner Mongolia, the influence factors and degrees of the beef cattle breeding of the farmers were analyzed, which was basically identical with the results of the factors affecting development of in Inner Mongolia beef cattle breeding industry. On this basis, this paper took proposals for improving and promoting the beef cattle breeding industry in Inner Mongolia.
