MED (Management Education and Development) has become one of most important research areas of management in the United States, while in China, there is still very few people involves in it. Therefore this article takes the lead in introducing MED, through bounding its signification and territory. Since the research objects of MED contain all the activities in management education, the author mostly focuses on its curriculum design. For developing a common theoretical tool on designing specified curriculum, the author utilizes a research method of triangulation, to observe the functions of all the related entities.Meanwhile, the author introduces four MED investigation activities in USA, especially the findings and reforms on management curriculum designing, and analyzes an evaluation system of AACSB, which was developed based on these four investigations. The author also discusses the applicability of this system in China.As taking Soochow University for a case study, the author expects to acknowledge the process in designing specified curriculum in a Chinese University. Then he compares the result of this survey with the specified curriculum designing theoretical tool and the experiences from America. After this comparison, the author concludes and develops some measures, to solve the problems he finds, such as the over-centralized governmental power in Chinese Universities, the lack of student factors in MED curriculum designing and the singleness in teaching methods.
