The Preliminary Optimization Design On China’s Master Of Tourism Administration Curriculum Organization

Tourism is one of the most important supporting and fundamental industry on China’s national economy development. Any other traditional industry is incomparable to this industry neither in the range of radiation nor the speed of development. The rapid growth in this industry is leading the job description related to this filed to be more professional and specific which require talent reservation and further sharpening the issue:unbalance of supply-demand of worker. In order to fulfill the rapid growth needs, training educated and experienced students becomes the main issue to schools. In this background, on2011, over57locations were authorized to recruit Master of Tourism Administration (MTA) in order to train practical, skilled, compound and high-ranking students.MTA offers comprehensive training system to optimize the structure of mater students efficiently. However, the infrastructure of MTA system is during the process of improvement, the success of this new system is mainly depended on whether the courses are selected properly. Thus, this article is trying to give some suggestions on how to improve this curriculum offering.This article is divided to five sections. The first section introduces the background of this research and the current research situation both in domestic and oversea. The second section explains some key concepts such as Professional Master, Master of Tourism Administration and curriculum offering. The third, describes current situation of MTA in China and analyzes the insufficient. The fourth, introduces the characteristics of the senior practical tourism courses offered by training institutions such as American and Swiss tourism education. The last part, gives some suggestion on how to arrange the course related to Master of Tourism Administration properly after finish research.
