Case teaching method is highly regarded by educational worker as a kind of late-model teaching method. The article points out the necessity of adopting case teaching method in accounting courses of vocational school by analyzing its concept and character. Mean-while, according to the writer' spractice, the article states the details on how to use case teaching in accounting courses, which includes selecting and designing the case, organzing the study groups, discussing the accounting cases, writing the reports on analyzing the cases, giving the proper assessment and so on. With regard to the roles that the teachers and students play, the duties assigned by them, the writer offers his own original points of view. He also holds that the professional teacher of case teaching has low level; the students' general qualities are poor; the alternative accounting cases and the relative techniques are limited; the test form is limited and so on. All the factors have influenced case teaching developments and results. Therefore, the writer not only puts forward to set up the material bank of accounting cases teaching and form new teaching reaserch system to improve the teachers' abilities, but also asserts to establish "ERP" laboratory and use modern teaching techniques to develop case teaching effectively.
