Case-Teaching Method (CTM), which was first started in Harvard University in 1870, and then widely adopted by many countries of the world, has a value of substantial results. Through case presentation perspective, CTM creates a friendly and relaxing circumstance by combining the theory in books with the practical cases to illustrate the complexity of the cases involved so as to reach better teaching results. CTM can deepen students' understanding of related theories, cultivate their ability of innovation, analyzing and solving problems, and be good in promoting the students' operational ability of financial forecast, decision-making, controlling and analyses. It can also train the students' ability of language expression and financial writing.With the further reform in curricula, the application of CTM in the Study of Financial Management(SFM) is increasingly recognized. This thesis discusses pedagogical theories and rules, the teaching significance, methods, principles, its implementation and problems to be noticed. The thesis also puts forwards a design on how to implement case-teaching and raises a particular discussion on some keyteaching steps, all of which are of referential value for the reform of curricula. But CTM will not take better effect unless cases are carefully chosen, classes well-organized, and teacher-students relations elaborately-harmonized. At present, CTM is not widely applied in SFM of the college education in our country due to the limitation of teaching hours, the backward of teaching instruments and the restraining of teacher' s ability and energy.Combined with the theory of pedagogy, curriculum and management, this thesis tries to compose a project of implementing CTM in SFM through comparison analysis method, case analysis method, numeral statistic method, in a attempt to further popularize the application of CTM in SFM.
