Research On The Sustainable Development Of The Tourist Industry Of YiChang

The sustainable developmental strategy is the new tendency of tourism, which must be taken to promote the harmonious development of tourism economy, the society and environment. Recently, the contradiction between tourism development and environmental protection is becoming evident, which is undeveloped in the field. This research, based on the relevant theory and research results, analyzes fully the advantages and the disadvantages of YiChang tourism development, discusses the theory of regional tourism sustainable development and then tries to put forward strategic measures for YiChang tourism development.YiChang is located in western Hubei province, which has rich traveling resources, represented as the Three Gorges and the Three Gorges Dam. At present, the tourism has already become one of pillar industries of YiChang economic development, but many problems existed actually restricted its development. And so, under the guidance of sustainable development, it is necessary to study the way for the development of YiChang tourism.The advantages of YiChang tourism sustainable development are distinct. YiChang Tourism, which started at a high level, has being going well. It has not only rich natural and cultural resources, but also favorable ecological environment. And also, the local economy is developing fast with good infrastructure facilities. Besides, the local government provides various policy and legal support for tourism development. However, the quality of the YiChang tourism as a whole remains poor, such as the imperfect tourist function,dull product characteristic,single structure and intensive development, which is inconsistent with the abundant tourist resources.The sustainable developmental strategy is the guarantee of the YiChang sustained and healthy tourism development. The strategic measures provided are as follows: first, we should stick to the integrative development of the city and its tourism industry, establish the firm idea that "The city Is the sightseeing spot", make scientific plans and orderly exploitation, and then ameliorate the tourist function of this city gradually. Second, we should enhance the overall quality of its tourism industry, strive to advance the development of tourist clusters, develop the tourist enterprise networked and specialized systems. Third, we should innovate tourist products, make great efforts in the product types and its connotations. Fourth, we should insist on the market operation, further reinforce tourism industrial management, coordinate benefits of the region and departments, optimize the industrial environment.The tourism sustainable development is a systematic project, which inevitably must experiences a recurrent process to develop and adjust, even a long period. As long as it follows the sustainable development principle, and accomplishes goals systematically, there will be a more healthier and splendid future for YiChang Tourism.
