A Study On Sustainable Agricultural Development In Xiaoting District, Yichang

Agriculture is the basis and substantial guarantee for human to exist and develop. sustainable agricultural development is application of theoretics of sustainable development to agriculture. It is a certain trend of world agiculture development. XiaoTing distic locates in the southeast of YiChang City.It is the important agricultural base of YiChang.But as it is developed as new industrial park bad new comes with it More Energy is consume, farmland was cut down quickly, environment pollution and resources destruction become more and more serious. The agriculture development environment in Xiaoting district has already undergone greatchanges.Under thisbackground, it is very necessary to do a deeply empirical reseach on the actuality of agriculture and development durative of XiaoTing in Yichang city.Surveys the study of sustainable agricultural development in our country and abroad.On the basis of qualitative analysis of the agricultural system (population, resources, environment, economy and society)in Xiaoting District, according to the principles of being scientific and effective, being integrative, being operational, feasible and dynamic, this thesis establishes an index system to evaluate the sustainable agricultural development of Xiaoting District. The index system involves 28 indexes and five sub-systems, named, population, resources, environment, economy and society. Through the practical investigation of Xiaoting District, the author gains the raw date of relevant indexes and makes a standardized processing of the index date through the software SPSS.Then conducts an evaluation of the system's sustainable development comprehensive index and coordinative index in method of principal component analysis, AHP and membership function in fuzzy mathematics. The study result shows that all the sub-systems of Xiaoting District have a good development but the environment sub-system .The whole system has a wavyvily sustainable development; On the basis of the sub-system of economy, economy and population, economy and society , economy and resources enjoy coordinative development; Economy and environment suffer from disproportional development.Through analyzing the result of qualitative study and quantitative evaluation, discovers the problems in the sustainable agricultural development of Xiaoting District and put forward some strategies and suggestions for the sustainable agricultural development of Xiaoting District from such five aspects as population, resources, environment, economy and society. Include : insist on family planning, eliminate sexual discrimination; protect plantation, develop suburb farming and ecological agriculture; protect agricultural resources, prevent water and soil loss, improve the capability of disaster prevention; strengthen pollution abatement, excute the law more stick, popularize environment education, lead the public to participate in environment protection, expedite to ajust industrial structure of agriculture ,establish standing mechanism of increasing income, Introduce science and technology to blossom agriculture, improve agriculture infrastructure and medical treatment, establish and prefect social security system, broad the covering surface, deepen education innovate ,advance quality education ,perfect mechanism of encouraging people to innovate, bring community organizations into paly to active community culture and enrich the peoples life ,consist a harmonious society life ,consist a harmonious society.
