Research On The High Quality Development Of Rural Tourism In Yichang Hubei Province Under The Background Of Rural Revitalization

The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China formally put forward the strategy of rural vitalization.The total demand for implementing the strategy of rural vitalization concludes:prosperous industry,livable environment,polite phenomenon,efficient management and rich life.Meanwhile rural tourism can promote the integrative development of industry,agriculture and the service sector in rural areas,promote the trinity development of rural production,life and ecology,and vigorously promote rural revitalization.Based on the macro background of rural revitalization strategy and supported by a series of major policies,such as Notice on vigorously Promoting the Development of Nationwide Rural Tourism,rural-tourism with the target mode of whole-region tourisms achieved significant results.As a strong tourism city in Hubei province,Yichang has outstanding resource advantages in developing rural tourism.After decades of development,Yichang’s rural tourism market size has been constantly expanding.Rural tourism poverty alleviation effect is obvious.Rural tourism product system is gradually improved.A number of villages,towns,scenic spots were rated as national level and provincial rural tourism demonstration sites.However,we should also note that there is still a gap between rural tourism in Yichang and high-quality development in other areas.Many questions need to be solved urgently,such as disorderly industrial distribution,low-level industrial forms,the superficial cultural tourism,the imperfect infrastructure,and the aggravating environmental pollution,the marginalization of indigenous people,the insufficient tourism land and others.We need to learn from the successful experience of typical cases of rural tourism in China in order to solve the problems in the development of rural tourism in Yichang scientifically and to achieve high-quality development.This study summarized the experience results from Chongqing Wulong Tiankeng stockade village,Chengdu" Five Golden Flowers",Foshan Shunde Changlu environmental protection holiday farm for Yichang rural tourism.Based on this study we put forward scientific and rational planning to ensure the full participation of community residents,to build three-dimensional propagation mode,to integrate a variety of industries,to standardize the land for rural tourism,and to perfect infrastructure and so on.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which points out the background,significance,route,method and innovation of the research,and completes the literature review.The second chapter is the theoretical research,including the distinction of concepts,the definition of research scope,the interpretation of basic theories and the interaction study between rural tourism and rural revitalization.The third chapter is the current situation research.The advantages of the development of rural tourism in Yichang,the achievements,and problems are all summarized and analyzed.The fourth chapter is the case study which summarizes the experience from three successful cases of rural tourism in China.The fifth chapter is the countermeasure research,puts forward the feasible path of high quality development of rural tourism in Yichang.The sixth chapter summarizes the research work of this paper,and points out some limitations and the prospect of future research.
