Competition in the world today is for the competition for human talent. Having high quality labour resource is the secure foundation for healthy development of the hotel industry. To raise the quality of a hotel labour resource is through the systematic staff training and development. Now many hotels view staff training as an important part of their work and as a means of improving a hotel's management and also a crucial way to raise their competitive edge. It is with such a scenario that this document is prepared; and takes an in-depth look into GD Hotel's training system and organization. Furthermore, in response to the current market economics a staff training structure and plan is proposed.There are four main parts to this document. The first part discusses the theoretical framework of training systems and organization as a basis for structuring GD Hotel's own training organization. The second part examines and assesses GD Hotel's current staff training situation and its weaknesses. The third part is the heart of the discussion and is based on the first two parts where we view the strategic elements of our training structure. The main intention is to build upon and improve GD Hotel's staff training structure from the mindset, responsibility and policy perspectives to ensure the smooth operation of the staff straining structure.
