Investigation On Plant Flora And Resources Research Of Gansu Rangeland

Gansu Province is located in the Inland Northwest, the upper reaches of theYellow River. There are vast territory and complex topography. Among them, thereis the vast area of natural grassland and rich plant resources.The Gansu rangelandplant species were investigated in this research since June in2012on the basis ofthe second survey grassland resources work of Gansu Province through combining ofdata collection, field surveys, specimen collection, identification and classification,data analysis method.And analysis the grassland plants flora，plant resources analyzesand research based on it. And proposed the utilization and protection measures ofplant resources in Gansu Province,The mainly results are as follows：(1)There are2128species (including varieties，subspecies and forms)whichbelong to706genera and154famlies in Gansu rangeland．There are31speeies offem plants，belonging to14genera and19families；27species of gymnosperm，belonging to5genera and10famlies；2027species of angiosperm，belonging to135genera and677famlies. And contain27dominant families,14typical families.(2)The results of floristic composition of Gansu rangeland plant shown that in allthe154families divided into11types,10variant. Among them, there are57familiesof tropical distribution,50families of temperate distribution,2families of ChineseEndemic distribution. In all706species include15type and22variant. There are120,490,21species of tropical distribution, temperate distribution, Chinese Endemicdistribution, and respectively accounting for16.99%,69.41%,2.97%of the totalnumber of genus.(3)The charaeteristies of Gansu rangeland plant flora is analyzed as following：the plant species is rich; the floristic composition is varied; the feature of temperate isobvious; the characteristics of flora is transitional and mutual penetration; the mainlycomponsed of floristic is young; the diversity of angiosperm is rich; the phenomenonof endemic plant is obviously.(4)The plant resources diversity of Gansu was abundant that include many types．In all of the types，number of forage plant (1657species) was the most，thesecond was medicinal plant (961species)，the next was ornamental and product plant(852speices)．In addition, there are147kinds of industrial plants,119kinds of edibleplants,20kinds of endangered endemic plants.(5) In the composition of Gansu province plant resources, the majority is forageplant resources, and is the basis for the grassland ecosystems exchange of materialand energy. Variety and rich in resources. Among them, including254kinds ofGramineae, Asteraceae306kinds, Rosaceae102kinds,127kinds of legumes,Ranunculaceae105kinds,71kinds of Cyperaceae, Chenopodiaceae57kinds,Polygonaceae,34species of other families1,073kinds. Divided according to theirecological life forms, xeric, drought mesophyte, mesophyte, wet perennial herbresource are mainly parts, there are a small part of the tree, xeric small shrubs andbushes. And also includes some poisonous plants, a total of31families,62genera and242kinds.(6) Statistics the forage yield and conservation value of quality forage: there arePoaceae43genera110species, legume8genera48species,33genera and138kindsof other families. Fully demonstrated the value of gramineae, legumes and otherhigh-quality forage resources of Gansu grassland plant resources, of which the mostprominent grass family. Among them, the most prominent is gramineae. According toa comprehensive analysis of the economic characteristics, palatability, nutritionalvalue, aboveground biomass, resistance and many other indicators, thera are Fescue,Stipa, Bromegrass and other36kinds are high-quality forage.
