| The Mt.Mufu, located in the Northern Surburb of Nanjng, is a part of Muyan-Scenic Area. Base on the studies of the flora in Mt.Mufu, this paper concludes and classifies the Wild Ornamental Plant Resources which worth developing and utilizing, and advances some tactics on its vegetation resuming and landscape transforming. The main results are as follows:1. With the investigation of the flora in Mt.Mufu, the author collects 520 plant samples altogether.(1) Through the qualification, Mt.Mufu area has 490 species advanced plants (including some cultivated plants) belonging to 331 genera in 110 families, among which there are 7 species of ferns belonging to 7 genera in 7 families, 11 species of Gymnospermae plants belonging to 8 genera in 4 families, and 472 species of Angiospermae plants belonging to 316 genera in 99 families.(2) The larger families in flora of Mt.Mufu are Compositae, Leguminosae, Rosaceae and Gramineae and the larger genera are Polygonum, Rosa, Acer, Quercus, Lespedeza, Lysimachia, Artemesia and Ixeris.(3) According to the classification method of Mr.Wu-zhengyi (1991) about genera distribution types of Chinese seed plants, the 324 genera seed plants in Mt.Mufu can classified into 15 types and 10 subtypes. The Temperate is the major distribution types of the flora and the Tropic counts for certain proportion, which indicates the flora in this area has transitional characteristics from tropic to temperate.(4) The peculiar flora composition in Mt.Mufu is poor. The area only has a peculiar species--Sinojackia xylocarpa.(5) The geographical composition of flora in MtMufu, MtZijin and MtNiushou is similar in general, and the majorities vary from the Temperate to the Tropic distribution types. The kind of plants in Mt.Zijin is more abundant, which in Mt.Niushou and Mt.Mufu is less.2. The paper devides the Wild Ornamental Plant Resources of Mt.Mufu into flower-watching, fruit-watching, flower and fruit-watching, color leaves and climbing plants. Among which three good types are emphatically recommended: rock plants, characteristic plants and blue or purple flower-watching plants.3. In terms of the character of vegetation of Mt.Mufu, and combining with the characteristic plants of this area, present some tactics on its vegetation resuming and landscape transforming.(1) The vegetation at present is divided into the system of water supply conservation forest; the system of naturally ecological forest; the system of recovery forest; the system of economic forest; the system of meadow with sparse woods and the system of ecological isolated forest.(2) The tactics of plant landscape transforming involves the transforming of Biamboo woods;the transforming of tableland landscape; the construction of view forest; the construction of rock plants garden; the construction of wetland plants garden and the construction of characteristic plants garden.(3) According to reference the previous experiences of deal with the naked rock and discard , quarry and analysis a case in China, present some transforming policies on the naked rock and discard quarry landscape of Muyan-Scenic Area.
