Research On Webgis-Based Information Platform For Regional Resources

WebGIS is the inevitable product of the Internet technology and GIS, due to its development of high efficiency, rich and expressive, interactive and other characteristics, so WebGIS has become the mainstream GIS application development. The emergence of a new generation of network applications RIA, its good interaction, expressive and user experience bring new development opportunities for WebGIS. Flex and other RIA technologies mainstream of development, network applications design technology-REST, and ArcGIS Server API provides a practical and convenient way for a new generation WebGIS application development.This paper introduces PHP and MySQL and other open source technologies, discusses the integration of technologies and methods to achieve the development of a new generation of application-oriented WebGIS based Flex framework and ArcGIS Server platform. It highlights the multi-language translation model and data communications model design; finally, we initially actualize the Tumen River Area Resource Information Sharing Platform portal, and we verify the Flex-based integrated development of advanced technology and WebGIS workability.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The paper introduces the thinking and framework of resource information sharing platform, focusing on the development based on ArcGIS Server Flex API WebGIS solutions.(2) This paper describes the structure and architecture of ArcGIS Server, focusing on the publishing process ArcGIS Server services, and successfully carried out to verify the feasibility of communication through PHP and spatial geographic information databases and relational databases.(3) This paper describes in detail the process of development methods and development of multi-language portal system; it provides a good solution for the construction of a shared platform, and provides a strong technical support for the construction of a shared platform of other industries.
