Study On Liaohe River Water Information WebGIS Construction Based On ArcGIS Server

The web Geographic Information System(WebGIS) is a combination of Internet technology and GIS technology.As a space application in the form of information,it will show the information of topography of the study area of via the network directly,and provide the government and water management department rapidly to support decision-making. Currently the WebGIS is in order to form the development of distributed network-based,there are huge data to share the system features,and it is difficult to repeat it to use,difficult to update and deploy the system as well as higher costs of maintenance problems.In this paper, based on ArcGIS Server platform to build WebGIS system,with the combination of server object manager and server object container,the server can manage the space data from different sources;based on the research in Web Services technology,the spaces function will be packaged and it can separate the performance of the external and internal logic of the system;In addition,Extensible Markup Language(XML) of GIS data exist large amount of data redundancy,and the traditional XML data compression method has a low universal application,and it is hard to be in the application of WebGIS and other issues.This paper presents a geographical-based JSON new method for the exchange of information and data. Compare with the traditional structure of the XML-based geographic data,the structure based on JSON is more streamlined,and can be used directly by the client,with the universal application of high and practical value.With the advantage of JSON which a collection of name/value pairs to performance data,this method makes a basic structure of XML data decomposition,the analysis of structural features of XML,the conversion rules of XML format and JSON format,discusses the JSON data format based on the WebGIS structure. Finally,on the framework put forward by the WebGIS system and ASP.NET technology, design and establishment of "water information WebGIS of Liaohe River".With information of the Liaohe River basin,floods,lakes and reservoirs,this system contains functions such as query data,location,measuring area,and other functions for the region's water information management and decision-making support.
