Biology is a natural science based on the experiment. Biology developmentcannot leave the experiment. The biology experiment teaching should be used as thebasis of biology teaching. In recent years, with the middle school biology curriculumreform and development, the researchers of biology course to the attention of theexperimental teaching level also in deepening. This in the document of “full-timecompulsory education biology curriculum standard (experiment draft)”issued in2001and “ordinary high school biology curriculum standard (experiment draft)”issued in2003and the biology textbook compiled on the basis of these standards concreteembodiment. New curriculum standard specifically reflected new and higherrequirements to the experimental teaching in the curriculum idea, curriculumobjectives and content standards. Compared with old teaching textbook, the numberof experiment and experiment content of new teaching textbook significantly increase.In addition, experiments become more difficult. So the requirement for experimentalability improved significantly. Therefore, how to conform to the requirements ofcurriculum reform and improve the biology teachers’ ability of experiment teachinghas become a challenge for the teachers and students of current biology specialty innormal colleges. As an important part of biology teachers’ professional requiredcourse group,“Middle School Biology Experiment Teaching Theory” courseundertakes the important task of training normal university students’ ability in theexperimental teaching. As understand the implementation of the “Middle School Biology ExperimentTeaching Theory” course in Sichuan Normal University, for this study. With thetheme of the cultivation of the students’ biological experiment teaching ability in thecurriculum implementation of “Middle School Biology Experiment Teaching Theory”in Sichuan Normal University, this thesis used the literature method, questionnairesurvey and interview survey method to analyzed and discussed the biologyexperimental teaching ability in Sichuan Normal university student’s education fromtwo aspects: both the theory and the practice.This study sorted out and analyzed the related literature data collection about the“Middle School Biology Experiment Teaching Theory” course. At the same time, onthe nature of the “Middle School Biology Experiment Teaching Theory” course,status, goal and content in detail in this paper. Practice aspect, this study made threesets of investigation and study, the first set of investigation and study to the SichuanNormal University is engaged in the “Middle School Biology Experiment TeachingTheory” course teaching of two teachers as investigation object, and the theory ofmiddle school biology experiment teaching in the curriculum implementation,students “biology experimental teaching ability” the cultivation of the feedbacksurvey. The second group study in Sichuan Normal University grade2011studentswho major in biological science as investigation object, the “Middle School BiologyExperiment Teaching Theory” course of the implementation of the feedback survey.The third group of investigation and study to the Sichuan Normal University2010level of biological science undergraduates as investigation object, in view of thepractice, the implementation of the “Middle School Biology Experiment TeachingTheory” course made a feedback survey. On the basis of above research, effectivesolution is put forward in view of the problems arising from the implementation, forbetter implementation of Sichuan Normal University “high school biology experimentteaching theory” course provides practical reference. Finally, from two aspects of theskill training of experiment teaching and laboratory construction and management putforward the optimization suggestions for the implementation of “middle schoolbiology experiment teaching theory” course of normal university in our country.
