A Study On Production Logistics Analysis And Improvement Of ShanDong Bright Air Conditioning Company

Production logistics, together with supply logistics (input logistics) and saleslogistics (output logistics) constitutes the company logistics system. As a criticalcomponent of the company logistics, production logistics is the principal part of themanufacturing focused companies'logistics. Production Logistics refers to theorganization of the transformation, movement, storage and control of goods from theacquisition of raw materials to the delivery of finished products to customers.Based on the fact, through objective analysis of status quo of the Bright AirConditioning Company's logistics, the existing problems are pointed out. Since theproduction logistics doesn't go well and the lead times can not be guaranteed, theurgency of improving the current logistics is described. After detailed description of thelogistics theory and production logistics theory, the objective of logistics management,characteristics of the production logistics and the strategic significance of the logisticsmanagement on company's operation are put forward. Finally, the approaches toimprove present production logistics system are raised from the following four points:firstly, according to the orders, people should take resources as the basis of the planningin production planning and control, the method of which is elaborated. Furthermore, itis suggested to precede the orders by decision-making and evaluating. Secondly, it isproposed to ameliorate the craftsmanship procedure, especially the balanced design ofthe assembly line and production procedure to improve the production efficiency,shorten the production cycle and enhance the flexible production capabilities across theboard by utilizing the methodology and working principle in IE. Thirdly, it is suggestedto manage the supply chain appropriately and evaluate the suppliers correctly in termsof supply chain management. Finally, in respect of logistics management information,first of all, shortage of ERP and its importance is pointed out, the disadvantages of theupgraded ERP and its positive influence in economy is evaluated.
