Automobile industry is a comprehensive industry which is a highcohesion of multi-discipline. Its self-development can parallel drive othermultiple supplementary businesses, Such industrial status largely determinesits main role in the economic field of our country.With more than thirty years of reform and opening up, China’s automobileindustry as in other industries is gradually transit from original traditionaldevelopment model to a modern automobile production model, and theautomotive industry is also becoming an important source of motive force ofdevelopment in China’s national economy, this comprehensive industry as apull of dozens of industries upstream and downstream undoubtedly hasbecome an important industry which involve the whole people’s livelihoodneed to be considered by national highest-level policy.Today, from a planned economy to a market economy era of evolution,the automoble industry has also been evolving from the original plannedeconomy which simply pull a single product structure by plan to a marketsituation faced by car manufacturers customization, continue to meetcustomers’demand. With the Chinese automobile market tends to intensecompetition and macroeconomic transition period from extensive to intensiveand efficiency impact the passenger car market,various car manufacturershave expanded production capacity in an attempt to get largest share of theprofits strong car sales cycle.But objectively, it is making a serious imbalance between supply anddemand, making sales situation more severe, rising4S stores inventorypressure. Vehicle operation along with the rising pressure on the stock.How to keep their original basis of market share and is poised to grab themarket share from competitors, which requires each passenger car market need to rack their brains to try to speculate.In addition to simple marketingtools to enhance sales volume,expand the network channels and carry out allkinds of sales policies, how to better improve customers’ satisfaction is theonly way to increase sales.In order to seize the market can be described as fleeting, customerresponse time is required to shorten the highest possible, in order to correctmarket misjudgment, the maximum to meet the real needs of the market, thedomestic major vehicle operation must minimize order processing cycleimprove reaction speed and operational efficiency of the entire supply chainsystem in order to meet customer needs, reduce costs to pay.the automobile industry production propulsion system is entering a newera: that rely mainly on short production cycle, advance lean manufacturingand quick customer response time.Further advance modern managementmethods such as JIT management, supplier inventory management, leanproduction management, continuous improvement and supply chainmanagement, but one of the most urgent needs is contradictory between therapidly changing automobile market and automobile companies’longer orderfreezing period. It’s increasingly becoming a major problem in automobileindustry.Production and sales as two major components of the car businessactivities undoubtedly impact the important indicators which influencecompany’s existent such as efficient use of funds, the cost of business,customer satisfaction. Without accurate flexible order planning system, aconvenient and rigorous information systems, efficient production controlsystem support, what about the modernization of China’s automobile industry.Persist in so dong, company will certainly be wed out in the near future in themore intense competitive conditions. This article will combine order management mode in FAW-VolkswagenAutomotive industry and production control mode in auto industry toinvestigate and make in-depth analysis, more rapid response to customerneeds, improve their competitiveness for the current status of automobileproduction and sales patterns.Based on deep analysis about the related problems,in theFAW-Volkswagen existing supply chain systems, the longer freezing periodresult in sales orders can not ajust to the market changes. There are manydrawbacks exist in product controlling unit can not meet the theoretical JIT.Existing order model can not be completely in conformity with BTOmode. Among these factors such as the long ordering period result in thewhole production proess will take up to three and half month.One solution to this problem is shortening sales and materialsprocurement orders freezing period, the other is the use of pearl chain modelin production control unit, three-dimensional body library sorting, body barcode replacement to promote lean production, gradually implementation ofshortening the freeze period in the entire supply chain system, and thusenhance market competitiveness. In addition we will deep analysis in thisarticle on the order management system of production chain informationconstruction field in FAW-Volkswagen, to provide a reference for theFAW-Volkswagen order management model development strategyformulation.
