A Study On Current Situation Of China's Network Public Opinion Supervision

Nowadays, the Internet brings the diversity for peoples'communication and the convenience of information release. The Internet is the most important media for people's supervision on the Party and the government's work. Public opinion through the internet is an important way to ensure peoples'right of supervision, which greatly affect the government's executive decision-making. In the year of 2009, China had witnessed a large number of public opinion supervise cases caused by the Internet, which effected a large scope, and left the people a deep impression. After many years of development, the internet public opinion has become increasingly powerful influence to bring about a profound social impact. More than 380 million of Internet users and the improvement of Internet technology, the role of public opinion makes the network space, emerged as a new subject and object characteristics, and the effects are becoming increasingly significant oversight. This paper aims on the public opinion supervise cases in recent years, analysis the current situation of supervision online to explore the characteristics of public opinion supervision on the network, analyzing the effect production mechanisms, and raised the problems which appeared to better grasp the network of public opinion supervision context. And to provide effective reference for making the internet play its advantages on public opinion in the future active supervision, to promote the harmonious society construction.
