After the network known as newspapers, radio, television and other traditional media, it becomes the "fourth media". With the rapid development of Internet, traditional media and online media gradually formed two camps. Compared with the network media, traditional media has more experiences to guide public opinion, and it still plays an important role. The rise of the Internet has provided a guide for the new media platforms and channels. Both traditional media and Internet media has its own unique way of guiding public opinion and features and shoulders the important responsibility of guiding public opinion. The face of network era, the traditional position of media and public opinion is undergoing a transformation, both in the media guide on the differences shown by the increasing prominence, Analysis of the network and the traditional media in terms of public opinion to guide the characteristics and differences also seem particularly important.In this paper, journalism and communication related to the theory of comparative study from the perspective of the network and the traditional media in the media guide's related issues. Paper is divided into five chapters.
