Plant Eco-Physiological information monitoring technology is one of the most important technology in the agricultural production process. It is very useful to capture plant growth information by various Eco-Physiological sensors. By the acquisition information we can diagnose plant growth state, analyse plant nutrition information, study plant pathological changes,aging, growth aberrance, and some else Eco-Physilogical rules. These works is helpful to plant cultivation managment, growth failure prevention and cure, analyse environment influence, promote plant yield, and improve agricultural produce efficiency.In the project we studied ZigBee technology, embedded system technology, and Eco-physiological senors technology, then proposed Eco-Physiological information monitoring scheme based on ZigBee technology, in which the plant Eco-Physiological information is captured by various Eco-Physiological sensors. And the information is send to the host computer in wireless way. The ZigBee plant Eco-Physiological system has the ability of online monitoring in real time.The Eco-Physiological monitoring system adopt distributed structure, it is easy to install in the farm.And the system has advantages on information transmission stable, low power consumption and low cost, which service to the agricultural facilities modernization well.The thesis researched the working environment and key parameters of Eco-Physilogical monitoring system, and consider the cost of the hardware and software development, then proposed a data collection method based on wireless sensor network. The thesis studied the ZigBee protocol and ModBus industry field bus protocol, then embedded the ModBus protocol to the ZigBee stack.Thesis has implemented both of the hardware and software development, which include ZigBee standard SoC chip selection, putting up wireless sensor network system platform, ZigBee wireless module development, the interface between ZigBee module and sensor development, the power manage system of sensor nodes development, sensor information collection software development, ZigBee stack dormancy tactic development and wireless low power field bus software based ModBus standard development.
