Design And Development Of Electronic Document Management System Based On Web

Management system of Electronic document is a basic research subject with theoretical significance and wide engineering application prospect. At present, companies have already realized CAD, and accumulated numerous electronic drawings. And many of them have applied drawing management system, but with the fast development of Internet/Intranet, drawing management system based on C/S mode cannot satisfy the demand of Internet Era.Aiming at the situation and requirements of collaborative work and document management, the thesis deals with the theory and practice of key technologies in document manage system considering, such as, collaborative work theory, the system architecture, and cooperative tools integration including NetMeeting. Based on the result of the researches, a collaborative management's document management prototype system is implemented with advanced system development technologies.The main research contents are briefly summarized as follows:(1)The state of the art in document management all over the world is analyzed and summarized. The theoretical foundation of document are analyzed and summarized. The thesis deal with characteristics, applications, working pattern, research content and key technologies of document management. Document conceptual models and theories provide the theoretical foundation for collaborative design system.(2)The thesis analyzes the function and demand of network-based document management system. The key function modules of system are established on the basis of the function and demand. The system adopted the architecture based on B/S model. Development structure based on J2EE is choiced for the system. The relation and function of the hierarchical structure of system are discussed. Document management system pattern based on Web is put forward.(3)The thesis research and discuss key technologies of system design and development, such as, systemic safety accessing control, systemic user-privilege manage, and electronic signature, cooperative tools integration and share program technology, displaying the drawing on the Internet.(4)The thesis research on version management technology, then adopt the drawing model in order to describe the complicated version relationship, establish a drawing structure model's reconstruction and displaying ways, achieve the drawing of version relationship.(5)A collaborative design prototype system based on B/S model is implemented. The system is designed and implemented based on MVC design pattern with JSP. The study aim of the system is implemented elementarily. The system possess some key functions, including system management, drawing and document management, cooperative workroom and so on.
