Virtual reality technology is widely used in engineering training, such as the virtual dismantling equipment and training, operation training, etc.The ship electrical and mechanical equipment dismantling training is one of the subjects which used to practice and training the crew required by the National Maritime Bureau. Using virtual reality to simulate the dismantling process of electrical and mechanical equipment of ships will overcome some physical defects in the process of disassembly, and combined with physical disassembly and assembly training system can achieve good results.In this paper, marine purifier be taken for the study, combined with the technology of virtual reality and simulation, using 3ds max to build all of the purifier three-dimensional models parts; used virtual simulation Software VR-Platform to configure and render the three-dimensional model, and use Visual C + + to carry out the interactive assembly and disassembly the virtual model of marine purifier, and record students'operation sequence and time to the database. According to the record, the assessor easily makes out the objective result to the student's examination and evaluation; make sure the objectivity of the assessment. The virtual dismantlement technology that used in professional education and training in marine engineering, can effectively solve the problem that the number of participants more large than the number of devices when the students in the process of dismantle the marine equipments, each student can repeatedly dismantle the device, improved learning efficiency, ensure the fairness of education.This paper will achieve the following tasks:Firstly, analysis the research and the application of virtual reality technology at home and abroad, and explained the practical significance of this paper. And proposed methods of design and implementation which used to realize the marine purifier virtual assembly and disassembly and evaluation system are built.Then, the paper selected the Marine Purifier as simulation object, use 3ds max as 3D modeling platform, built the various components of the model. And the use of lighting technology, mapping technology, and baking on the 3D model rendering technology to optimize the model, the optimized model and animation be loaded to VRP-builder in which carry out the configuration of the model object, script editing, collision detection. In the end, using VC + + 6.0 and VRP SDK call script to realize the real-time interactive control of virtual disassembly.Finally, based on the evaluation system needs analysis, use SQL Server as the database management system which used to save various datas about dismounting marine purifier and assessment information and so on. According to the given assessment criteria, achieve the assessment of the disassembly process.
