Virtual reality is an advanced technology attracting more and more attention in the recent years, which is also known as reality technology or artificial environment. It is a cross-cutting disciplines developed on the basis of modern science and technology. It is mainly based on computer technology, using computer simulating a virtual world. This virtual world makes users have immersive feeling. Simply speaking, virtual reality uses computer creating a real world.As an important branch of virtual reality, virtual environment roaming develops rapidly in architecture, games, travel, aerospace and other industries. The virtual sightseeing roaming of the tourism landscape makes tourists can travel around the world at home. Ideally speaking, Virtual environment roaming system should make users feel in a real world when they interact with the system. But most existing roaming systems use two-dimensional interface. Users can only use mouse and keyboard to interact with the system. This is very discord and unnatural.This article uses virtual reality technology to design a real-time bicycle roaming system which using exercise bike as human-computer interaction method. This bicycle roaming system is constructed based on Visionix and integrates sensor technology. This system uses high-definition three-dimensional images to simulate the tourist attractions as well as bicycle sensor and wind control sensor that users can visit the tourist attractions in a room. Users use cycling speed to control the speed of the roaming and cycling direction to control the roaming perspective. When the speed increases, the users will feel the bursts of breeze blowing. This system is designed to make users have roaming experience same as in the real environment, in the meantime, they also can build their body.
