The Design And Implementation Of Information Systems For Measurement Management Using JBPM

Workflow technology is one of core technology to Implement business process management automation for enterprises. It can optimize and reorganize business process, but management system which builds on workflow can take the business processes out of the applications. Beginning with workflow technology, this dissertation mainly presents design process and implementation of measurement system which is designed for measurement institute.Firstly, this dissertation introduces basic concept about workflow, workflow management system, system reference model and workflow model, Then, it mainly explains some concepts about modeling language—jPDL of open source JBPM workflow system, like node, transaction, action, etc. Based on the jBPM open source workflow engine, The dissertation shows the design and implementation of Information Systems for Measurement Management. The design combines the workflow technology and JavaEE multi-layer software architecture. JBPM is responsible for implementing business process management. The application is designed by using mature JavaEE framework:Struts, Spring and Hibernate. From the perspective of business model, this dissertation describes how to implement about measurement verification process in detail. It shows the workflow process chart, definition, deployment, implementation and execution and so on.
