The Application Of JPDL Process Modeling In Business Administration System

As to the popularity and penetration of E-government system, workflow technology has become a mainstream of this domain. The main target of workflow management is to adjust relative information and human resource to cooperate every aspect of work process. This will make work process executed according to preset order, so achieve the goal of work process automation. Nowadays, computer and network were widely used, more and more research organizations and industries are paying attention to workflow management systems.Process definition is formalized definition of real work process, A well process define criterion is crucial to a workflow management system of agility, reliability, scalability and maneuverability. There were many process define criterions during the period of workflow development, and had played an important part. But after carefully looked into those criterions, we can found that they had many defects, such as not suitable for some special situations in process definition, which limit the application of workflow management system.JPDL is a new process define criterion, it is different to traditional criterions. JPDL provides more node types which we can not found in traditional process define criterion. Users can define processes according to the real situation at most.We will provide some special situations exist when define processes of Business Administration System in this paper, and discuss solutions by using different process define criterions. After comparison, we will find the advantage of JPDL. According to requirement of Business Administration System, we choose two crucial processes as examples and define them using JPDL process define criterion. We will deploy those definitions to the database after they were defined. We will develop the system using deployed process definitions, and give some final pages developed by us. We can find the advantages of applying JPDL process define criterion to E-government system development through the examples of define, deploy and develop. At last, we will make a conclusion of what we have done in this paper and prospect future work of applying JPDL process define criterion to E-government system development.
