Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co., LTD. (SAMC) is the main manufacturer and final assembly unit of the national key construction projects:Advanced Regional Plane ARJ21 and Large-type Passenger Plane C919. At present, the processes of quality records in SAMC are complex and widely flowed by paper, departments manage the respective quality records which have direct relationship, and make simple statistical analysis and data processing. It is a great difficult mission to obtain signs of many department in a multi-department document such as Failure and Rejection Report (FRR), usually this document would flowed among departments in every process by man power, which makes time delay to problem solving and quality improving. And it is a urgent need to build quality information management system to collect, arrange, analyze and record the quality information which makes electronic management of quality record preparing, reviewing, filing comes true.First of all, the business status of quality information management in SAMC is analyzed, and it is analyzed the necessity of quality information management system development by JBPM techonology. On this basis, an discussion about the functions of the quality information system such as FRR, basic data management, user management is performed, clear about the business processes including the basic information preparing, reviewing and filing. Then the general structure of the quality information management system is developed by using MVC framework based on SAMC IT platform, and the key subsystems, such as FRR, Corrective Action (CA) are designed in detail. Meanwhile, the management of FRR and the implement of CA which occurred in product are discussed by JBPM workflow techonology with emphasis. Finally, the design of the system is summarized and the scalability of the system is discussed.
