Wireless sensor networks is currently of concern in the international arena, involving a high degree of cross-multidisciplinary, cutting-edge knowledge and highly integrated hot area of research. Wireless sensor networks integrate sensors, modern network, wireless communication and distributed information processing technology and so on. It can be integrated through various types of micro-sensors to complete the environmental or monitoring objects information in real time monitoring, sensing and acquisition, and such information through self-organizing multi-hop wireless network to a user terminal. Thus to achieve the physical world, the computer world and human society connected triple world.ZigBee is a wireless network technology with emerging short-range, low rate, low cost and low-power. As it has a strong self-organization, self-healing capacity and high security, it is suitable for WSN. In this paper, ZigBee wireless sensor networks is applied to industrial monitoring network to solve the problem of cable control systems.Based on thorough study of the agreement ZigBee technology, network structure and after routing algorithm, we give a design of a ZigBee wireless sensor network according to the requirements of industrial control. In this design, we implement the network coordinator, routers and sensors of three hardware nodes based on CC2430 chips. As the communication distance of the CC2430 chip only 75m or so, It's necessary to add a PA chip in the circuit to extend the communication range to meet industry requirements. The idea of modularized design in hardware circuit of nodes can reduce the complexity of the design and reduce the interference of wireless circuit.In the software side, this paper use MSSTATE_LRWPAN protocol stack. Increasing PC to sensor node parameter modification function according to actual needs. In order to reduce node power consumption, we design the sensor nodes sleep mode, and solve the problem of PC command frame can not be accept caused the sleep patterns. In addition, in order to simplify the complexity of data processing nodes and increase the network capacity of handle data, we give a set of network data frame format.Finally, we test the ZigBee wireless sensor networks indicators, the results meet the design requirements. In addition, we analysis the interference may exist in the system,and proposed some measures to reduce interference.
