In the ever-changing manufacturing industry,the production,management and operations are developing with time's reformation.In the small batch of multi-species production mode of manufacturing,the complex process,wide range of product types and increasing of plant land cost improve the production requirements.Production line balance has become a comprehensive measure of whether the production line is reasonable,how to improve the production line balance,reduce the plant floor area and improve the efficiency of equipment utilization,is most of the important problems faced by enterprises.This paper introduces design and optimization of the pressure bucket production line mainly from the following three aspects,in order to achieve single-piece production.In the workshop layout planning,the system layout design method is used to re-plan the pressure barrel workshop and define each station,according to the logistics and non-logistics impact indicators to determine the logistics and non-logistics relationship map.During the determination of relationship between logistics and non-logistics,the weight of each sub-index is obtained by entropy weight method.The matrix of logistics weight and non-logistics weight is constructed.The relationship between logistics and non-logistics is determined by matrix eigenvalue.In the process of product inventory,we analysis of the operation steps of each process through the process program diagram,"ECRS" principle is used to adjust the operation process and balance the station cycle time.By improving the 5S,production line automation,visual management,process improvement and other lean ways to reduce waste and improve the production line balance rate.On the issue of distribution of facilities in the workshop,the actual conditions are transformed into mathematical model,and the cost and transportation capacity are optimized.The multi-objective linear programming model is constructed with the service life and transportation capacity as the constraints.Point method to convert the multi-objective linear programming model into a single-objective linear programming model to determine the final distribution scheme.
