In recent years, the CAD/CAM technology is more and more widely applied to the mechanical design, and has achieved satisfactory results. In the road construction machinery, this kind of attempt is also very common. With road-building machines' massive uses, the new product's design research and development changes with each new day. In the market competition, whose products come first, often determines who is dominant in the market competition. If the computer-aided design technology can be introduced in and shorten the product development cycle, it will be of great significance. The paper is carrying on the research work of parametrization design under such a background.At first, the paper carries on the design work of type 4000 feeding equipment of fiber.Based on this, with the method of using Visual C++ language and Pro/E native development kit Pro/TOOLKIT, I carry on the re-development of Pro/E and generate a parametrization design and assembly system for feeding equipment's main parts. In this system, as long as the input of the feeding equipment's unit type, we can get an accrute model of the required three-dimensional parts and components without the need for repeated design calculation. Similarly, without the need for the artificial definition of complex assembly constraints, the system can automatically assemble parts and generate the assembly model of each organization.Functions,as design calculation, parametrization design and automatic assembly, are integrated into this system. So the system has good intelligence and automatism, greatly increases the design efficiency and quality of the feeding equipment, reduces the product development cost and has bright application prospect. At the same time, this paper also has something for reference for other products' parametrization design.Then, the paper establishs a mathematical model which has the optimal weight and efficiency as double objective. Then, use the Matlab7.1 optimization toolbox to calculate the mathematical model and achieve the target of Minimum weight and highest efficiency. It is realized that the mechanism is optimized and the design efficiency is raised, and the work is of practical value. At last, the virtual prototyping of the dispersing mechanism has an interference check and is imported to the software ADAMS to have a work process simulation.Then the curves of the dispersing leaves'displacement and angular velocity are exported.They prove that the virtual prototyping is correctly established. The application of the simulation plays some role in the improvement of the design efficiency.
