With the rapid development of electronic industry, the demand for PCB board are also increasing. When it comes to test the quality of PCB board, most companies in our country a re artificial handling and testing, which is inefficient and has high rejection rate. Thus, it is necessary to analyze the specific printed circuit board and research the technology about the automatic feeding and testing process of PCB board to design a dedicated PCB board automatic feeding and testing equipment.This paper studied the automatic feeding and testing technology and equipment for 4G printed-circuit board. Firstly, we designed a PCB board feeding machine according to the structural and electrical characteristics of PCB board and process requirements. Secondly, we analyzed the process requirements of PCB board testing and designed a automatic testing equipment. Thirdly, we studied the insertion force of different stage in the insertion process based on the simplified model of testing process and determined the impact parameter.Lastly, we made a physical prototype and a lot of experiments to verify the function of the equipment we designed.In the study,we build 3D model of the equipment by Solid Works 2010 and analyzed the structural parts with finite-element analysis by ANSYS workbench 14.5. Besides, we built the control system of testing equipment by combining industrial personal computer(IPC)with motion control card.The whole design process includes the project design, selecting components,determining the overall dimensions, selecting materials, building 3D model and electrical system; as a result, we obtained a dedicated equipment for PCB board automatic feeding and testing. Experiments showed that the success rate of the equipment achieved to 96.1%.This paper put forward the automatic feeding and testing technology for 4G PCB board,which improved the automaticity of PCB board production and was conducive to solve the problems like poor product consistency, low production efficiency, high salary cost. Thetechnology put forward in this paper has guiding significance and reference value for realizing the automatic production of circuit board.
