At present,the domestic electronic components compression molding machine feeding is still in a manual or semi-automatic state,high labor intensity,low efficiency,poor working environment,unable to meet the needs of enterprises.This paper takes the automatic feeding of electronic components of the press plastic machine as the research target,and designs its automatic feeding robot to solve this problem.By analyzing the feeding process of electronic components,the paper plans the automatic feeding position of electronic component core,and designs the moving track of the feeding robot.On this basis,through the analysis of typical robot structure and workspace characteristics,and combined with the feeding robot movement,a cartesian coordinate electronic component automatic feeding robot mechanism is designed.According to the robot mechanism,the overall structure of the robot is proposed,and the structure design of the robot is completed.The 3d model of robot was established by using PRO/E software,and the virtual prototype of robot was established by adding material properties and corresponding movement to the 3D model imported into ADAMS software.Then,the kinematic simulation of automatic feeding is carried out on the virtual prototype.The simulation results show that the designed robot can realize the automatic feeding function of electronic components.Finally,the drive and structure of the automatic feeding robot are designed and checked,and the results show that the designed robot structure meets the strength requirements.The design of automatic feeding robot improves the feeding efficiency of electronic components,reduces the labor intensity and improves the working conditions of workers,which also provides a reference for other automatic feeding.
