With the large-scale and scientific development of sow feeding industry, for the sows especially the pregnant ones, it is now becoming more and more important to employ scientific feeding management.However the sow feeding industry in our country is still on a small scale, which leads to that the managers can not to master sows specific physiological conditions timely, which is not conducive to the industry developing in the direction of large-scale and automation. Especially for some reason, small-scale feeding will be suffered by lots of impacts. In this paper, based on current situation of the sow feeding, we put forward the design of intelligent sow feeding management system.The system consists of the feeding device, the Zigbee wireless communication network, and the upper computer with management software. The feeding device uses ARM9as core controller, and uses Windows CE as software platform. All feeding devices communicate with each other and the upper computer through the Zigbee wireless communication network, and the data in embedded database of all feeding devices is the same. The upper computer is used as the control and management terminal, can configure the feeding control parameters for each sow and can read the feeding status parameters. Based on the feeding laws, analyzes the reading data and diagnoses the status of the sow, such as estrus, pregnancy, illness, etc. And based on the status,the upper computer sents order to isolates the illness and pregnancy ones.By RFID identifying each sow, ZigBee will sent electronic code to upper computer,and by the data in embedded database we can acquire the feeding status and control parameters of each sow,such as the body weight, growth stage, estrus,pregnancy and parturition, etc.And then according to the sow feeding industry standard empirical formula, we get every Control module’s operation standard.By above steps achieving the sow scientific feeding follow, realizes the detailed, scientific and individual feeding.
