Research Of MSC POOL Network Key Technology And Network Constracting

The security and optimization of core network is always the focus of manufacturers and operators because it is the most important part of telecommunication system. The related manufacturers and operators have never stopped researching its capacity,security,performance,operation and maintenance. The trend of few exchanges with higher capacities asks for higher security and better optimization of core network. The traditional network structure of one MSC with several BSCs can not solve some problems, such as the load share among exchanges and MSC malfunction. So MSCPOOL technology is a good solution for the core network to obtain higher security, better stability and more effective operation.In this paper, MSCPOOL technology and its related procedure and signaling have been analyzed and studied in depth. Furthermore a MSCPOOL core network has been erected in a practical project, and its technological advantages are verified. The main research in the paper is as following:1 The problems in the traditional network and advantages of MSCPOOL network have been studied and compared in depth.2 The key technologies which are used in MSCPOOL network are introduced and analyzed in detail while the operational theory of new function is described. According to the present-day network structure and topology, all kinds of MSCPOOL network formations have been introduced in detail. Network planning, construction, data configuration and system test are expatiated in some practical cases.3 The analysis has been done for test results and traffic statistics in MSCPOOL network such that the advantages of POOL technology have been verified. Some common problems of application test and data configuration have been pointed out.
