In2010,the core network of Guangdong mobile communication completed the IP transformation after the introduction of softswitch. However, there are a series of problems brought by softswitch equipment, the traditional MSC is split into two entity network elements, MSC server, and MGW, the "internal panel" interface is changed into a "long distance" interface. At the same time, end office with large capacity began to emerge. The end office with one million users has emerged in Guangdong Mobile, and there is a pair of CE with28end offices, therefore, the probability of failure of the core network will increase. On the other hand, with the decline of the call charges, there is a rapid growth in user’s traffic. Considering of different regions and different time, traffic of end office is not balanced, hence problems of security redundancy and load balancing should be dealt with Urgently in the core network.MSC IN POOL technology can realize disaster recovery on core network element level,it can also ensure the failure of a large-capacity end office without affecting users’business and balance the load on core network element level.In this paper, we introduce the principle of MSC IN POOL technology,then a specific implementation proposal is put forward, finally there is a contrast between the network indicators with MSC IN POOL technology and the network indicators without that. The results show that MSC IN POOL technology can realize the balance of network resource and improve the network security of core network of Zhuhai.
