The Network Design For Monitoring The Radiate Area

As the global climate wanning, low-carbon economy has been concerned by more and more countries, and nuclear energy, as low pollution and low-emission, gets more and more useful. However, how to protect staffs safety has been brought as the widespread use of nuclear energy. Therefore, the system of management and real-time monitoring of radiate area has been very important. The issue made research on the "network for monitoring the radiate area". Combined with the CDMA wireless technique, RS-485 network technique and MCU technique, radiate monitoring system will be developed into a synthetic one, and it will be more safety and efficiency for ensuring the staffs' security.The system consists of hardware, software and wireless network. The hardware includes personal dosimeters and Readers. As the intelligent interface between a personal dosimeter and the central management PC, the reader is the focus of the research. In the paper, design of Readers' main circuit and external auxiliary circuit are given in detail. For the function, the design of the main circuit not only requires that it can communicate with a number of peripheral circuits and store a certain amount of data, but also should has a liquid crystal display, keyboard, and alarm equipment, as a man-machine interface; Design of external auxiliary circuit, includes, the infrared interface between dosimeter and Reader, the RS-485 network interface between Reader and the central management as well as the card reader.Software mainly completes the functions of system management, network interface and communication control. The system management includes staffs' information, access gripe, data-base, equipments, statistics and report forms for the detailed. At the same time, the system provides its own communication protocol for software to complete the communication function not only between the workstation and the Reader, but also between the Reader and the dosimeter.
