The Journalism Education Thoughts Research Of Cheng Shewo

The thought and practice in the journalism education of Cheng Shewo not only have had an impact on the Chinese society at that time, but also have a great inspiration nowadays, some of which also appear to be more leading. Because of the special time of Cheng Shewo, his thought of journalism education is a more important issue in the time of developing the vocational education.This article will discuss the thought and practice in the journalism education of Cheng Shewo, including the three parts.First introduces the life of Cheng Shewo, his historical background as well as his public journalism activities, and analyzes the influence of Cai Yuanpei's educational thought and Cheng Shewos abroad study on his thought in the journalism education in order to reveal the process of his thought in the journalism education.This article discusses the content of Cheng Shewo's journalism education, including educating people from the idea of journalism education and training modes, school policy, the development path, the ideal of education, carrying out theory education. As to the idea of educating people, Cheng Shewo asked the students to be patriotism, justice, stressing the truth of the news and so on. Cheng Shewo adhered to the training of vocational skills as the core of the training mode, which shows mainly in the applicability of the academic structure and curriculum, putting his education theory in practice and so on. He established the journalism education by Cai's school way of "inclusive, freedom of thought".
