| Micro-blog is a mini-blog which allow the users update their personal text via SMS, websites, instant messaging and external API interfaces. Despite with four years'history, micro-blog has demonstrated great potential in news application through a series of unexpected events. This research is just focus on news application of micro-blog,trying to indicate a panorama through systematic and theoretical analysis.The article first reviewed the development of micro-blog, summed up its propagation characteristics,then defined its concept based on series of network interpretation. Then, three application styles was discussed,including personal style, professional news media style and public institutions style.On the basis of three style, the article introduced the theory of citizen journalism and media convergence to interpret communication value of news application of micro-blog.Finally, the article proposed a series of countermeasures to solve the problem of news application of micro-blog. |
