| With the development and population of the wireless communication technology, wireless communication chip is in great demand and keeping growth. Meanwhile, the requirement on the quality and cost of the chip is stricter. Therefore, the WLAN chip test solution must no only ensure the basic coverage rate, but also reduce chip total cost by lower final test cost.Based on testing the DC, AC, mixed signal and RF part of the WLAN chip on Ultraflex tester, we confirm the test coverage rate of the chip, which includes continuity test, leakage test, MBIST/SCAN/JTAG test, DAC/ADC test, RF receiver test, RF transceiver test, and so on. Totally more than nine hundred sub test items are set to ensure the chip can work with low level dynamic and statistic current. Meanwhile, we reduce the final test cost by design one multi-site load board (eight sites) and the test time by reducing RF test frequency point. At last, the test solution optimization is done by analyzing the volume test data and finally released to mass production. |
