With the rapid development of economic globalization and information technology, the competition among chemical products marketing companies is becoming more and more intense. In order to manage the chemical products marketing information such as customers, resources and prices, and we can timely response to market changes and adjust marketing strategy, we must ensure the management and control of all kinds of the core business to run normally. So it is necessary to develop a web-based chemical products sales management information system.This paper's mainly work includes:Firstly, with the detailed analysis of the company's sales business and the intensive study the problems existing in the Company's marketing management, we provide a suit of feasible and effective business processes system. In addition to business process, we analyze the UML use cases, functional and non-functional requirements.Secondly, modular design concept is adapted in the system design process, by dividing the system into many functional modules, we extracts out the system's main functional modules which are out-product configuration plan management, product marketing plan management, product buyout price management, product sale price management and product sale process management. For each of the core functional modules, we have created many business process flowcharts. It is MVC design pattern which divided the system into the classic three-tier architecture model, presentation layer, logic layer and data access layer.Thirdly, the idea of RUP unified software development process was adopted to ensure the ability of the system for extensibility and maintainability. We have tested the system's performance by testing tool Load Runner, which ensures the system's Robustness. Effective System implements the company's most business process requirement such as sale management and data management, each post can be operating in accordance with the requirements of internal control. All departments could share the system-data according to the requirements. The system greatly improves the level of the company's automation. From the changes taken by the implementation and use of the system, it effectively managed all kinds of sale process, reflected the real-time enterprise status, and provided intelligent feedbacks and suggestions. It supports database management and provides multiple query and statistics analysis function. It improves the achievement of sales activity, develops the market channels, builds durable customer relationship, improves the ability to adjust customer's requirement and the speed of feedbacks, and it receives good results.
