Study On Museum Of Trauma

Due to the need of conservation of social memory of trauma after public events, museum of trauma, as a kind of new museum type turned up after World Warâ…¡. Different from traditional museum which conserve and exhibit achievement of human civilization, museum of trauma conserves and exhibit "negative-progress" of human civilization which reference to political incidents, technological accidents, or natural calamities.This thesis analyses trigger of trauma of individual and society. The essence of museum trauma is solidified commemorative ceremonies, And the basic function of it is conserve and exhibit social memory of trauma for education, development of community, and rights bargaining. Therefore, we have to follow some certain rules when we master-plan and design museum of trauma.
